New Delhi: In a recent statement, Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh claimed that Indian armed forces successfully conducted a precise operation, known as Operation Sandur, allegedly targeting terrorist camps across the border in Pakistan. According to Singh, nine terrorist camps were destroyed, and a significant number of terrorists were eliminated without causing harm to any innocent civilians.
The statement, initially shared through a video clip tweeted by Indian news agency ANI, highlighted the accuracy and professionalism of the Indian armed forces. “The precision with which Operation Sandur was executed is unimaginable and commendable. Nine terrorist camps were destroyed, and a large number of terrorists were neutralized,” Rajnath Singh stated.
Singh emphasized that the operation was carried out with minimal collateral damage, attributing this success to the advanced training and superior equipment of the Indian Army. He also extended his congratulations to the Defense Production Department and Production Secretary Sanjeev Kumar for their role in supporting this operation.
On the other hand, Pakistan’s military spokesperson provided a conflicting account, reporting that Indian attacks in Pakistan and the region of Pakistan-administered Kashmir resulted in the deaths of 31 civilians and left 57 others injured. The spokesperson condemned the Indian actions, vowing accountability for the loss of innocent lives.
Rajnath Singh, in his remarks, maintained that India has always acted as a responsible nation, favoring dialogue to resolve disputes. However, he warned against testing India’s patience. “If anyone attempts to take advantage of our patience, they should be prepared for ‘quality action’ like we saw yesterday. We are prepared for similar responsible responses in the future,” Singh asserted.
The Indian Defense Minister further expressed his ambition to strengthen India’s defense industry, aiming to establish it as a reliable global brand. He highlighted the importance of ensuring that whenever global markets have doubts about defense products from other nations, they should choose ‘Brand India’ with confidence.
